These two homes, designed as a complementary pair, are located within a Home Owner's Association that imposes strict height restrictions. The homes feature minimalist street profiles and low-elevation designs that seamlessly blend with the neighboring homes. The exterior spaces flow naturally from the interior, while the unique building shapes of each home draw inspiration from the breathtaking Pacific Ocean views and site conditions.

A vertical void serves as a focal point in each home, physically and visually connecting each level. The void in each home serves a distinct purpose, with one home utilizing the main stair, while the other home incorporates the void as a sculptural water wall feature that brings a tranquil sound of water throughout the spaces, connecting the homes to their oceanic surroundings.
