In 2012, Buenos Aires hosted a design competition to create a space dedicated to a contemporary art exhibition, precisely that of Argentinian artists. Our focus during the design process was Argentinian culture and creating space that could simultaneously act as a generator and armature for the substance which makes up contemporary Argentinian culture. Central to this endeavor was to situate our design within the site's context, both physically and symbolically.
